Thanks everyone, try to hit it this morning, but wind picked up and so did the waves. Was thinking about driving to SLP, but thought I better do some work. Anyway, might try it again tomorrow either bayside or beachfront. LAY DOWN WIND

I was the other guy on the water with Mike. Great day to take off of work. Nothing on tops starting before 6am. After 20 minutes of watching my She Dog surf the waves I switched to soft plastics and they hit three different patterns (I only had three tails and they were all different). All trout I landed were fat keepers till #8 then 4 trout around 14 7/8 which were thrown back. I was one away from a limit when I noticed the large swirl near my stringer and a fin that did not look like a trout tail. I told Mike something didn't look right so I dopped the stringer off at the golf cart and went back out to land #10. Sure enough, at the cleaning table we found one trout with a bite out of it. And that is why I still wear dark pants in the surf...Comment
