If you have patience and time to do it there are very nice older shimanoes on ebay my friend paid 130$ for a curadoBSF200 and 140$ for a chronarch 100 the old pearl white one these to me are the best reels ever made why mess with the rest.tThese 2 reels along with the curado 200 are my favorite.

Still great reels. Almost identical to the Curado E series.

.....Ooops! They were a little more than what i wanted to spend as well! Check out the Lews Tourneyment Saltwater reels. I really like 'em.

I like my Lews TP SS. I rate it similar to a Chronarch. Although mine hasn't stood the test of time yet.

get on ebay or any other fishing website and buy an E series curado.

Stay away from the G series... they are junk.

take a look at the Revo S too

Academy has these for $70 right now, usually $130. They're great reels imho.... very similar to a Curado.

Well im actually gonna try the H20 out and see how i like it if i dont like it ill keep it as a back up and go spend the money on a different one. As many guys ive heard talk about them and the price if they are that good i might as well see lol thanks yall!

Lews are nice but they are hard to get parts for. Tell him to find a 200e7 curado or 100b curado
