    Sunday flyfishing 10/10

    Flyfishing was very good yesterday.Light winds clear sky and clear water made for a top notch fishing day for poling.I caught a total of 6 reds and three trout.The highlight of the day were the big trout that were up shallow. I cast to 5 of those big girls and I finally got lucky and caught one of them. She was 26 1/2 in. and very fat.She ate a red & white seaducer.It was a heck of a sight to see that big yellow mouth open up and suck in that big fly.I do have the pictures to prove it but I need some instructuons on how to post it up.I am not computer savvy.

          went about 50 miles to GA424, limits of snaps 8-12#s-I am guessing on weight, prolly over 12#s, 1 10#+ mangrove, some vermilions, no kings, saw 1 ling caught, lotta boats out, no weedlines, water was perfect and so were seas. Coming in at about 4:30, surf was thick with birds and pulled up on a flock-was 100s of jacks with sharks mixed in-I had one on for about 45 seconds and pow on a trout rod, Jim lost his bass assassin and buddy was trying for the 4 or 5 4-6' sharks swimming behind the boat-after Jim and I were cut off, we said let's go-long day, then we also fished Sunday but shoulda gone real shallow like you did-7 trout, 1 flattie-no big girls and was tough getting the trout-chocolate and north shore areas.

              Way to go Skiffstiff! I bet that was a blast sigt casting to that big trout. I wanted to go Sunday but I was recovering from Saturday,s offshore trip. Cant wait to see the pictures.

                It was AWESOME to cast to those big girls up that shallow,but when that one decided to eat the seaducer the excitement for me was off the scale.It was something to see ! I can close my eyes and see it all over again.
