I would be careful what you post on the fishing web sites. It doesn't look good when you go over your limit or start double dipping. TP&W sets limits in place for a reason. When you post that kind of stuff on a web site your gonna get blasted for it.

You better ease up hoss. It may have been an accident but it was indeed illegal and I dang sure wouldn't have posted a picture of it publicly and admitted to it. You cannot fault people for being upset about blatantly illegal activity.

Jr game wardens make accusations with no facts to back them up. Here we have facts. Ill be surprised if someone doesn't call in on you.

I would not say anyone on here is jealous or hating. Just people making some observations that this is not the first report from you lately that is little off. You say someone miscounted, ok still illegal. Then the reports from August 22, that morning you go out catch your limit. Then you say you catch 9 of your buddies and take a pic with 19 trout. After that you post another report saying you went out that evening. You said you let some go but then you caught another limit with some friends, your buddy limited and another had 4. So of the pic with 24 trout one might think you kept another 10. So you basically kept 29 trout that day by your own report. Maybe you misspoke or miscounted again. No need to get all defensive when someone calls you out on something illegal you said yourself you did. Whether you gave them away, or miscounted it's still illegal. No doubt, you have been catching a lot of fish, good for you; however, you will loose a lot of respect real quick if you are blatantly breaking our fish and game laws.

Good lord.................. over one poor flounder, idk if this makes a difference but we started at 10:30pm and were still gigging after midnight. not sure if that matters, Possession Limits

To answer your question I took home 0 trout that day I may have caught quite a few but I myself took home 0. idk if that's wrong or not. maybe I need to look at the tpwd book, but I was under the impression I may have caught my daily bag limit but if I gave them away, you could go back and catch more fish, all the fish I give away, never are in my possession again, and if that is illegal to do, then my apologies I honestly did not know that was illegal, I just thought I was being nice keeping friends and whoever wanted some fish stocked up.

Nope - you can remove 10 trout a day from the resource and thats it - doesnt matter if you give them away or not. Past 10 you can Catch and Release all you want. As to the past midnight thing I'll have to defer to others - I know theres a lot of energy around that subject with regard to overnight offshore trips and such and I'm sure someone has an answer.

It's great that you're on fish and by all means post up reports - just dont incriminate yourself publicly because like it or not you'll get called out for it and all of this can be seen and used by "the man" as well.

just so everybody knows I didn't mean to come off in a hostile way or for this post Escalade like this or try to brag about going over the limit ,it was an honest mistake my friend had couted the fish and said we only had 9,so we walked a little farther and got another and then when we got back to the truck we re counted and had 11 and I wasn't about to throw one fish back to die I'm not one to waste, either way I was wrong I broke the law with one fish over I apologize,for my comments I didn't mean nothing I was just talking internet smack ,I know thissite has really good people I've met a couple of them and their top notch dudes, sorry guys for the misunderstanding and rude comments, Especially walkinwader, sorry for getting immature and rude with you, just was in a fighting and arguing mood yesterday. i will continue to post reports and pics of my ventures just gonna be more careful on what i post to avoid issues.
