My fishing buddy and I had plans to take the boat out. We were going to park on a reef and fish with some lights. He
called and cancelled until next weekend. I figured I would do the same. About 10pm I changed my mind and decided
to go try the get some flounder for my Dad for Father's Day. I arrived and 3 guys were already there. I joined them with my new light set up, but they had already covered the area really well. They had 6 fish. I did see one, but he bolted a split second before I was going to stick him. I think he saw a shadow because my left leg was in front of the
    right.
In hindsight I should have gone to my second spot instead. Because by the time I got there all the flounder where gone with the outgoing tide. I saw plenty of empty beds. Took some pics on the way back to the truck.
I am still carrying my Coleman Lantern, but these new LEDs are great. One ty-rapped to each leg and a deer feeder
Battery for each one. They were still going strong after 3 1/2 hours.
On land they reach out 30 feet. 7 feet in clear water and 3 in dirty.
    Here are the pics.....

That's what I call 'hands free'. Awesome set up. I've not seen anything like that.

I know for me. Wading through water for a few hours is strenuous and must ask. How was it with this stuff strapped to you're legs and feet?

Not that much different than a Karankawa indian hunting the shallows at night with a torch and a spear.

I personally think you are on to something kind of different and unique. To my knowledge this has never been tried before. It appears to work too...that's always a plus!

Not a problem at all. The special PVC double wye as only 1 1/2" PVC and suprisingly light weight.
The 2 batteries were the only part that had any weight issues, and that wasn't really too bad.

Very creative and just cool . Great for walking the dog at night too ! If you don't have a dog , buy one just so you can impress the neighbors as you stroll around the block with him . The police will probably take an interest also . I know , wear 'em to a dimly lit nightclub...it'll be a chick magnet . Take the cute dog too, girls like those also .
