  • Too late.

Went to one of my gigging spots with the kayak last night. Worked the shore line and noticed foot prints. I planned my gigging trip around the incomming tide. Someone went out while the tide was dropping and found them. I found beds right by there foot prints, they were solid fish. While I was poling around the mullet came in and then I started seeing the red fish. If only I was in LA with my bow fishing rig, I probably could have got a limit of reds last night. Worked the shore line for 2 hours and didn't find a single flounder, did find a decent ray though. I would say it would have pushed 15 pounds. It scared me a little. It was as wide as my kayak. I pushed it away with my push pole and kept on pushing.

Sorry to hear that. That is always a good reason to get out at sundown. You might also get to sleep at a decent hour that way too.
