  • Performance Reeds and Exhaust Tuners

Any of you guys/gals ever install performance reeds and exhaust tuners on your outboards? It is almost time for my Yamaha's "yearly" and I was thinking of maybe doing a couple of upgrades.

I know you can do it. I wouldn't take to anyone else. I was curious if anyone on the forum has had it done. Would I be sacrificing reliability? Any other bolt-on performance upgrades you can suggest.

I figured I would have a little fun with the motor I have now instead of dropping coin a new 150

What the h*ll are you talking about? Do you plan to make the engine sound like a bleating sheep?

No, super tunning, makes more HP, and smooths out power band across the board.

                        Brian,

Does it make sense to super tune my Zuk 175, or is it maxed out? Does it have anything to do with adjustment to the ECU and manipulation to the injectors and exhaust? Also does the ECU determine the air flow? Thanks, Albert

                          Albert,
I wish we could do this to yours, but there is no aftermarket parts for your motor. Sorry buddy!

It can be done no problem, but is it worth 600.00 to 700.00 for the minor HP addtion to you?
