Scott,
With that Yamaha I bet she's not to hard on the wallet. Great looking sled.

Back on the water
After recovering from back surgery, selling my Kenner and hitching rides with my friends to fish, I have finally got a "newtome" rig.
Blue Wave Deluxe Pro 220, F150 yamaha. JOCUES let me ride in his and I was sold. a week later this one came up for sale. Perfect timing.
She did 45mph into a 25mph headwind Sunday morning, just slipping ever so gently across the 2ft chop, so I was shickled.
PIcked up a new 10ft po-pole from Roger, and we are good to go! Roger was nice enough to straighten out a bent rail for me. THANKS MAN!
We caught fish on her maiden voyage, and you can't ask for much more than that.
Scott

Nice fleet! Welcome aboard!Originally posted by Spuds View PostHere is the latest edition to my Whaler family. 1985 Outrage 18.

My 1961 Nauset. I am the only the second owner since 1981. Mr. Burnet, the previous Whaler owner told me that they used it to take orders for the 62's. He said that it was the first 16 on the Gulf coast!

Thank you sir. That engine has been an absolute dream - great power and outstanding mileage. But, I think I'm going to a 300 Verado next time just to get away from the oil.Originally posted by Bayoucatshe is beautiful i bet the 300 Opti keeps her out of the water very nice rig.
