Been getting up early to work on the dock so it's not so hot. Sunday morning I was out when I noticed something hitting to surface similar to trout popping. Then all of a sudden the water was filled with surface action all around me. Everywhere you looked there was fish feeding. Looked like one of those shark frenzies you see on TV. I went up and got my 7yr grandson and tied on the first lure I could grab "a small orange and black Mirrorlure floater", onto his Zebco. He spent the next 30 mins playing around with a bunch of Skipjacks. After two days of fishing with dead shrimp and cut mullet and not catching anything, he looked at me and said, " you know, this artificial bait is the way to go". Don't get me no more shrimp.
