A Home Run morning for sure!! Everything and I mean everything was great!! Released all caught and ran outa bait by 0730hrs. Last bait busted line by hit 2' from grass! If anyone gets the chance GO GO GO!!! Barb/Cody have the bait once again!! Respooling this PM and my affliction with Hi Fever is telling me to go again!!! Fishing is a great disease to have!!

3 nice legal trout and 2 hard 20" reds. Handful of rats and skillet size trout. Several croakers, TR's and when the Ladies called they wanted outa the water doin the twist! 2 of the trout swallowed the small circle hooks I use and I'm still praying they quit bleeding out and live to fight another day. All on a fresh pint from Lutes! haven't been out since last Thursday when the rain and storm sent me and the wife packin! This ol electrician is petrified of the lightening!! I am truly jealous of everyone who lives coastal. I am up here in North Texas and only get down to Freeport/Surfside when visiting my in-laws. On the bright side.. my in-laws are awesome, so I encourage my husband as often as possible to visit.... with a promise he will take me fishing...."Honey, the freezer is getting low on reds and flounder... let's go fishing"
He enjoys it as he says i have fishing "jou-jou".... i manage to catch more than him .
Truly enjoy hearing about everyones fishing successes. I'm hoping for a trip over Labor Day. I need my saltwater fix !!Comment
