  • Almost rained out

Went out with GC13 again & on the way to the ramp it started to rain & saw lightning in the back ground, thinking were done for, got to the ramp & could not ask for a better day. We started off in one area against a shoreline for some flounder but no takers, I saw some birds working further down & we head that way afer a few more cast, we pull up & can see shrimp jumping out of the water but did, nothing under them, we take off to drift some reefs, we start catching some trout with a few sandies mixed in,we take off again to an area that looks like a small cove, we picked up a few flounder & missed who knows how many, our lures were getting torn up, when the bite stopped, we took back to the reefs, we get a couple of rat reds there & GC13 gets one nice red, we called it a day when it looked like the tide stopped moving, had a good time on the water, Thanks again DB.

    Team GulfcoastDawgs!!!

Great write up Don. A little more "physical location" references next time would really bring the report together.
