  • Late 24th Report

Late on this since home puter down so had to wait for work to post.

Went out from Lute's Saturday morning and fished around in chocolate bay this time. Fished long reef and caught a few rat reds to 19". Went in to get livebait from lutes around 1pm. Then I caught the big one, caught a 21ft boat. Put up a good fight but I landed him and pulled him to Lute's. Actually can't remember his name now had broke down about a mile south of 2004. Pulled him in to Lute's boat slues and tied down. Really nice guys and were greatful of the tow. Got some liveshrimp for the girlfriend and went back out to the bay. Fished a few spoils as heading out. More rat reds and croakers. Went about 1 to 2 miles south of 2004 and fished the spoils to the left. Had a hour of light left and the water was real dirty. Had a school of trout moved in and till dark caught 6 to 18" and a lot of smaller ones. Caught one that had to be about 23 to 24 got off as trying to net it. Caught a couple of stingrays and last one didnt fight as usual stingray. So thought I had hooked into a big ugly. About a 20 pound stingray. One way in found another boat broke down. A large fishing barge, pulled them into the 2004 landing.

All together 6 specs to 18" and 2 boats. A wonderful day fishing and helping people in need.

          WTG!
"Hey Hillary, regarding the Benghazi Attack on 9/11-we'll just blame it on that movie, not my total lack of security. By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary. Doesn't salvage rights kick in when you pull a boat in.. LOL Guess I could have been a Pirate and ravaged the boats... I'm just glad I could help out.

I've said it once and ill say it a million more times, I ALWAYS feel safe when I fish chocolate even in my rinky dink 16' aluminum center council because the people that fish out there will always lend a hand even if the fish are practically jumping in the boat, they're always willing to help, take for instance buoy37, he had to tow ME in one time along with castaway, and they were in the middle of a fishing trip but still took time out of their day to tow me in, after that day I've always been on the lookout for stranded boaters and try to help out when I can except for tugboat guys that like to rip off your spotlights on the front of the boat because they think they're handlebars or something lol
Keep your booger hook off the bang switch!!
