Seems like the fish are still hanging just out of reach from being "ON", but they're about to pull up on the shorelines for sure ... did pretty good for a 6 hour grind.

Caught'em on everything we threw, but only once. You'd hop out of the boat and stick 2 - 3 real quick and then it'd be done for an hour and you'd have to change the presentation. Corky Devil's accounted for 50% of the catch if not more, hands down. Stuck one on the new Maniac Mullet, and a few on tops ... the rest came off of jerkshad.

Any color Corky's would get a few short strikes, but the big takers for the day were smoke/black, clear-pink/black, chart./pearl ... on top, they wanted anything with a clear platform, or chrome in it ...

Get out there man. Last part of last week was supposed to be the worst time of the month according to the solunar stuff ... and we did just fine. Everything I'm looking at has this weekend being real good.

I've got some great over the shoulder shots in the water but was "warned" about posting them ... ha ha ha ha ha ha ...

Very nice! West bay is on fire. By the way, it's there a limit on reds . Just playing, way to grind it out. Still need to wade chocolate some time. I always drift it, but have seen a few people wade it.

I'm from Louisiana, I get confused on limits when I fish Texas. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ... actually ... we were two short ...

That bay claimed a pair of waders last weekend by the way. Tons of shell. But, I will say ... we could have wet-waded, the water's plenty warm.
