Fishing report 3-13-12
So my girlfriend decided she wanted to go fishing, we hooked up the boat and headed for 2004. We got there late evening but not dark, it was around 7pm when we hit the water really. Ran out into the bay just a mile or two and drifted 4ft deep water with scattered shell and mud. Did not pick anything up... after a short drift due too 15mph winds and gusting 20... we went not but 50yrds away and found nice calm water where to my suprise was holding LOTS of redfish!!!! The water was so off color i wasnt sure what to throw and there was only 25min of light left. Didnt end up hooking one but good lord is there a ton of bait and some big boys on marsh banks!

ps: The water in the bay had a little bit of salt in it... hopefully this weather holds up for awhile and it turns lush green again!d
