Ten slot reds between two anglers= game warden and fines. Hope you kept your limit and released the rest or all. Not to say you didn't catch them, I've caught em schooled up but not with your bait choice. As far as pictures I enjoy them too but the last thing I think about when I leave the dock is a camera. I'm retired and get out 2-3 times a week and try to post a report good or bad and consider myself an O.K. angler and I have my word to keep. By the way, I was buying some shrimp a while back at Aunt Margies on 61st and Heards and encountered a young man wanting to take some flounder out to the dock for a couple pictures. Hmmm?

I wonder how often that happens?? It's a lot cheaper, but not nearly as fun!

BTW: These days, if you have a phone, you have a camera. No excuses for no pics.

I'm poor. My problem. My cell phone is antique I guess like me, and don't want to pay for internet access for pics. My daughters bought me a digital camera but I seldom use it. It's a matter of conscience when posting a report, for those who question come get on the boat or I'll get on yours.

I understand...I'm just poking a little fun at ya because I fished all day Saturday without a single catch. Good job!

No offense taken. Everybody gets skunked once in a while even the liars. My problem is I grew up with my dad fishing natural baits and haven't bought a pint of shrimp to fish since 1980 something. The quality and spieces of fish on lures is what I like. Lure presentation and quiet confidence in abilities is key. Can't stand unhooking hardheads and trash unless I got my little kids and grandkids out there.

to each his own. I've never eaten a hardhead and not about to start. When I was 11 or 12 and my parents would give me permission to go fish the Dow barge canal in Freeport alone (close enough to ride my bike) I would take my dead shrimp or squid and catch all spieces of fish. When my bait was gone I'd cut up the smallest sand trout into chunks and start catching bigger ones to take back home. When I got older and got my first car( 63 Nova ChevyII) I'd be on surfside beach surfing and fishing the jetties or wading the surf. First encounter with Bingo's and good speckled trout.
