    Chocolate Report

    Got out with my brother-in-law from Santa Fe this morning around 9:00. Put in at the 2004 bridge and ran out to the bay to find nice conditions. SW wind at 5 maybe althougth it started pumping 10-15 around noon. Found a spot half way out to the ICW off the channel and third cast hooked up. 14". Fish were bunched up in a tight and were eating that strawberry/cool tip major minnow. Made about four drifts picked up six more. two keepers. We ran up the bayou to Horseshoe and fished back to the bridge. No bite. Fun time with my mentor getting skunked. He was having issues with old line, oyster shells, and the fact he was down a few fish might've made him grip a little bit. He's got a real good sense of humor or I wouldn't be messing with him.

      There aint no fish in Chocolate-those were likely fish decals!! (Nice going).

          Nice going!

          Looked like it was cleaning up pretty good yesterday when I went by there bouy.

                  I plan to fish all weekend. Looks like the weather will hold out! May have to wait for the fog to lift, though.
