Ok what is with all of these reports people are sending to Galveston County News about Chocolate Bayou and Bay. Are they really yanking his chain or what. All the reports i have seen on here are that there is not much happening up there. Last time i went to Chocolate Bayou all i caught was a good case of the beer. There fishing was horrible. Anyone have anything on this.

With this cold snap, I'd guess fish sought out deeper water. Normally that would be the Bayou, but the fresh water may have pushed them into the ICW instead.
There are fish all over. It just depends if you're fishing when they decide to eat.

There is no fish in chocolate, the bay water is too cold and shallow to navigate ,fish usually migrate to the southern waters like corpus christy and rockport areas, so remember guys NO FISH IN CHOCOLATE.

Uh, fishin is great in the bayou just caught 2 16" mullet with a cast net.

Got you beat I caught a 2# hardhead in the bayou. So all the fish in the area was 2 mullet and a dang old hardhead. There are no fish anywhere in the area. Head east way east
