Kenny Wayne is here. I went Friday & today. Friday was tough going and what little bite there was ended and 9:30am. I wasn't there in the afternoon so I don't know.
Today I had to pass an East Bay invite because my wife wanted me to take her fishing, I bought some of Cody's paprika marinated hoppers for her and off we went. We had a nice morning together, although the live bait bite was Non-existant. She caught 3 dinks and one keeper that self-released. We brought home 6 nice, fat, trout (17-21") Home in plenty of time for the Game. Now I got a bonus for being such an understanding/patient husband... She just asked if she could use some of my lures tomorrow (Tomorrow ??!!, I didn't know we were going tomorrow) Sigh, I guess I better go charge the batteries... When you get a kitchen-pass like that you don't pass it up...

Rough day fishing on the bayou yesterday. Tide going out all day and slow bites. Managed 1 keeper spec and a few dinks. At least got to enjoy the day and do my 1st fishing trip of the new year
