  • Chocolate Bay 12-13-p.m.

We set out a 2:00 p.m. from the bridge and headed out in the bay. The fog was thick and the wind was blowing its arse off. We fished in 2.5 to 3.5 feet of water using bass assassin. The bite was slow and far between. We both had our lines broke( assuming reds) about the same time. They put up a good fight but they won the batttle yesterday.

Ended the day with 1 -red 22", 4 -trout to 20"s. Not a great day, but it was good to get out on the water.

    Until next time...

Yes, had to find the green water. That's where the fish were. Try around the tubes.

Yeah we went yesterday morning and the fog was crazy. Ended up pulling out and going to Bastrop. Slow Bite, pulled in 1 20 red, and 3 trout 16-19. Better than working!!!

Talk to a buddy of mine and he said the same green water produced for him. He said it was all on the south shore line.

Nice afternoon. What is the most spots you have seen on a red ? Most I have seen is 4 on each side.

This winter probably two, but we caught one a few months back with a lot on each side. Can't remember the exact count.
