Several years ago i watched a buddy of mine catch several bass 50 yd from were i was catching trout. Ever since then Ive always wondered about catching bass in the bayou. Well yesterday Bouy37 and decided we were going to find out. We left Lutes and headed north and didn't stop till we got to Liverpool. We fished several areas from Liverpool all the way to the saltwater barrier. Well long story short, we didn't find any bass. We had a fun adventure anyways. We called it a day on the bayou about noon and headed to meet up with CTC. By 3:30 we were launching the boats again at one of CTC's secret spots. Were we picked up approx 8 flaties, 1 good red, and several trout to 20" fishing till dark.

Went out yesterday and got my *** beat by my wife hahahah she caught a nice flounder, several nice trout, an undersized redfish and about a 9 lb black drum -on a tout - drifting shell and sand -overall the water was in great shape saw lots of waders and one guy wading not farfrom alligator point with birds working in front of him who was just killing it -thought about going up the bayou -but opted not toPromote Good Sportmanship
