  • Chocolate Bay - 10-20-11

my brother and I decided to hit the bay yesterday afternoon and see if we could get some fish for a fry this weekend. We managed some fish under the birds and a few around camp warden bayou area. We brought home 4 trout to 16" and 3 reds to 22" and 3 flounder to 20.5's...

The bite was pretty solid from the time we got there till we left (4:00 p.m. till dark). We used lime swimming mullet gulp in about 2-3 ft of water over shell and mud.

Going again this afternoon (hopefully) and I will let all of you know how it goes.

I also included a bonus picture of the 24" flounder I caught last week.

    Enjoy.

    Awesome!

I still can't get over that flounder being hooked twice.

It blew my mind when I started looking at the pics. I think I may get it mounted. I have some good pics and the sizes. It was caught by mi wifes 68 year old grandad and then I caught it, that will never happen again. I will probably give it to him if I get it mounted.

      Take care,

Mount that big girl up and someway incorporate the two photos you posted of you and your wife's Grand-Father holding it.
