lutes update

My son Justin and I fished the Lutes tournament today; needless to say the conditions were less then desirable. We get out at the first place and start wading and Justin hooks up with a nice flounder not even 20 feet from the boat as we were working down the shore line Justin hooks up with another nice flounder. At this time my friend Keith and I have no fish and Justin has two flounder just under 20”. In the Lutes tournament it’s closest to 20” without going over, things got better for us we started hooking up with a few trout with some reds but all were small. I ended up getting 2nd place on the black jack with a 16.5” trout I almost did not weigh it in, didn’t think it had a chance. Justin took 1st place again with his flounder, that’s 2 back to back first place finishes for him. Turned out to be a really good day for some windy fishing.

Just finished eating half of them along with a couple of flounders, I am in a butter coma!

BTW i wanna give a shout out to Cody for putin this tourney on and during the weight in free pizza.Corndog being the modest person he is got 1st place with the blackjack trout and i got 2nd place with over under 5lb redfish.The conditions were less than ideal for fishin and the bite was slow.

How about Bouy winning with that trout. Free food and some nice door prizes. That was nice sittin at front with some tunes,good friends and a cold one. I'll post the pics of the pig fish when I find my cord to the camera. Those things swim fast. Crazy stuff!
