    12/23
walked in around 6 15 with the bright full moon. wind was ene around 15-20 and the water was in good shape. got my first fish as the sun was lighting the sky up around 6 45 but it was only a schoolie trout.missed a couple of fish before finally stringing one and it was a solid 23" trout. fished for about 2 more hours only stringing 3 more from 18-22" trout. moved spots and the tide was well out and the wind picked up with the water dirty now. fished around thigh to waist deep and picked up 2 slot reds and a 25" trout (released) and plenty of border line reds. left to go home around 2. all fish caught on killer flats minnows.

took 3 friends out and walked in at 5 30 hoping we could get into some moonlight action. that plan didnt work but as soon as the sun was lighting the sky i drew first blood with a 19" trout. fished for another 30 min without a bite then strung another 17" trout. after about 10 min without a bite it looked like perfect pink corky devil conditions. first cast got a nice tug while i sank in the mud and missed the fish. threw in the same spot and tap tap. set the hook and nothing. threw back again and got a nice thump. paused the set the hook and was hooked up. it felt like a heavy fish but it came unbuttoned soon after. plug away for about 5 more minutes then get a good thump and set the hook and it too comes unbuttoned. missed about 5 more fish on the devil over the next 10 min. then they wouldnt hit again. switched back too the killer flats minnow and caught a schoolie trout. about that time i look back and hear 2 waders coming behind me and they were right next to me at this point talking loudly to each other. they go about 30 foot left of me and just keep going straight ahead while im sitting in the same spot. they soon cut my wade off so i said the hell with it im moving. my 3 friends didnt get anything there either.
switched locations and found some great looking water. my friend and i made a $5 bet to see who catches the most fishat this spot and i won with 3 reds just under slot.
all in all a fun trip. ended the 2 days with 7 trout from 17-25 and 2 reds 23 and 26"

Way to get out there and catch a few Taylor! You got another week and hopefully the conditions let you get on some more winter fish.
