When I got to Galveston last night it was dead calm. I had high hopes for the morning but when I woke up the winds were blowing out of the east around 15. There was a reef I had in mind but there was no way I was making the run there. I tucked in a cove and caught 4 trout to 22". The wind was pretty bad, there were swells in the cove lol. At about 10 I decided to go back in case the wind picked up. Not a bad day in my opinion. Water was murky green, tide was about a 1.5' low and going out and the water temp was 60 degrees.
