west bay 12/17

it looked kind of fishy this morning so i headed out solo for a wade before the winds came up. i jumped out in some mud/shell and threw corkys for a bit but no takers. i switched over to the large killer flats minnow in east beast and strung a 21 inch trout on the second cast. i couldn't get any takers on anything else so moved on. i decided to drift an area that's been productive and picked up 2 trout on the large minnow. the last trout tore that lure up so i changed over to a pumpkinseed killer flats minnow and picked up two 26 inch reds. the wind started picking up and i started getting cold so i came in around 11. water looked great, 58 degrees.
