mid week mid day

only had to school until 9 today since seniors got out early so i went fishing the rest of the day. got to the first spot about 10 30. there was a boat drifting were i wanted to fish so i hopped in behing him and let him drift down. he didnt get any bites so i was kinda ify on the spot. didnt take long until i hooked up though. it was off and on action until 1 30 when i went in. nothing but schoolie trout with a couple being border line and didnt plan on keeping any fish. went to get a bite to eat and then to try a new spot. pddled around some goe tubes and slid right over a redfish. kinda scared me when i looked over the side of the kayak haha. waded around some and found a gut and caught a few reds out of it and then it was getting dark. tied a topwater on and threw where the redfish was on the geo tube and he blew up on it but didnt take it. conditions were great but cant wait for some cold weather!!!
