Took the day off and headed down in the canoe. Hit the water around 6:30. The wind was blowing pretty hard and picked up throughout the day. Stuck to some protected guts back in the marsh and managed 4 small flounder, over 15 rat reds and two 24" reds.

I will have my boat back in the water next week...can't wait taking the whole week off to fish.

Yeah they were EVERYWHERE all day. They were coming out of a lil "lake" in less than a foot of water in "waves" through this gut that was around 2 ft deep. Birds were working in the lake but I couldn't get in there in my canoe it was so shallow.
