tournament day report

sand tarpon and i hit our fishing spot at around 6 and got ready to jump in and wade. while i was putting my wading belt on sand tarpon made a cast into total darkness and bam, 18 inch flounder on the first cast. we prefished the day before and found around four different large schools of reds but on the day of the tourney they were just not home. luckly we stuck to it and nailed our limit which included a 22 inch red with 10 spots, which won us the side pot. we were also able to land a 26.5 and a 24.5 which was good enough for third place in the tourney . all in all a great day for fishing
