    Fishing report 9/2-9/3

    Got to fish this weekend and try out some areas that Capt.Steve talked about at his presentation last thursday at the Orvis store.I stayed in the south side coves trying to duck out of the wind but I did manage to catch some fish.I got one 26 in. trout and one 29 in. red,along with a lot of smaller reds & trout.Managed to bring a 18 in. flounder to the net also.All the fish were taken on a mauler rigged with a tout tail and all were released to fight again accept for the flounder(broiled him).

          Way to go in tough conditions. A 26" trout is a nice fish for sure.
