  • Sand Eel Session

hit the surf yesterday morning with green water and bait.nothing was pushing it though.the wind was cranking pretty good straight down the beachfront, and it was choppy.fished for 45 minutes and then met up with mike(explorer21) and decided to go look for some protection in the bay.at 9:00am,the wind was ENE at about 15-18.we cut across the shoreline and found some decent water that was covered in bait.fished from 9:30 to about noon.caught lots of trout, probably missed just as many.strung a limit and headed in.fish were 17"-22",and all taken an a plum/chartreuse sand eel.no reds or flatties(surprising enough),all trout.thanks for the ride mike.

A Limit of nothing! Strange thing, he was 40-50 yards from me and was hooking up left and right. I landed a few dinks and that is it. It was cool to see Jamin catch a limit, won't me the last!
