  • Pouring Salt on the Wound

I know this is the fishing report section but I don't much to report other than the tides are still running very high in West Bay and the reds are deep in the grass. Saw plenty of fish tailing in the flooded spatina but hard a hard time getting a bait in front of them.

Short report and additional pictures here...

I guess I'll share a pic if nothing else...

All your going to catch on the south shoreline in X-mas is rat reds and a lot of them... Try drum bay that is where the big ones are...

Thanks for the heads up, but I wasn't fishing X-Mas. As a matter of fact I think I have only fished X-Mas once ever. I am familiar with drum bay as well as many other places in the area.

Thanks for the report. You are right the tide is way up there still, we saw several reds up in the skinny marsh, but no way for me to get to them. Once that tide starts to move out, it will be ON!

By the way, don't listen to Keith (Hogie70)
