  • Labor Day Redfish!!!!!!!

Capt Clint and I headed out this morning to do a little fishing . We got on the water around 6 and made our way to our first stop. First cast.. Redfish, Second Cast.. Redfish and so on and so on etc.

we had 12 slot reds and a few dinks by 830 am and then the first storm chased us until we found some shelter. Once it passed, we moved to another spot and hit a few more slot reds , a trout or two and then the next line of storms came in. Once the last line passed us, we decided to make the run back home before it got to the point we couldnt make it back across the bay.

Great Wet morning with lots of nice fish.. All fish released with pierced lips for future fishing fun.

We were using gulp under a popping cork for the most part.

Ease up you two, we have a tournament in another week. If you sting all of them it's gonna be tough down there!

Good to see that someone had a productive day on the holiday weekend. I stayed home with the girls and relaxed. No stress from new boaters for me this weekend.

I with you Steve, did not fish much at all this weekend. Too many crazies out there and the NE wind howling did not help.

Nice report Thomas. Popping Cork and Gulp, we tried that recently and nailed a few reds in Chocolate.

By the way, what's so significant about 9/11 anyway-was that a date my buddy Bill Ayers of the Weather Underground blew up a government building?" asked Obama to Hillary.
