Tide - barely moving incoming
Made a quick run out in West Bay for the early topwater bite with Glenn and his nephew. Jumped out at the first spot and the water was HIGH. Couldn't move far due to the high tide so left after catching 3 trout.
Jumped out again and immediately started getting blow ups on Skitterwalks and SS Jr, but not many hook ups. Switched to BIG tops and they started blasting them hard. Caught a bunch of small trout 14"-19" and a couple of small reds before the major ended, then headed back in.
It was good to see that the fish are really starting to feel their oats again.....hitting tops hard and putting on aerial shows.
