Haven't taken my kayak out in awhile and im thinking about hitting the flats real early tomorrow morning or sometime this week and try an get some fish. Dont know if anyone is interested in going or is already planning on going but as long as the weather permits tomorrow or another day this week im gonna head out there and see what happens.
Lmk if you'll be out there and maybe we can meet up meet each other and do some fishing.
    Thanks guys and good fishing.

Well today was not such a good day for me, I put in at 6 this morning and hit the flats by kemah and fished till about 11 without catching one
I had a lot of bites and a few pick ups but nothing got on, I think I was getting hardheads that were picking it up and running then dropping it or just nipping it.
I pulled up a baby hardhead on my jerkshad and it had the whole tail swallowed before it let go and fell back in the water.
Day wasn't totally bad, saw a dolphin coming up under the bridge passing the boardwalk and still had fun at least trying and doing something productive and active with my time so there always another day.
Haven't caught a redfish or trout in I dont even know how long and I've never caught any saltwater fish in my kayak since I have had it, its killing me I want to get on some fish bad.
                          In time I guess................in time.

I am going to hit up west on Sunday morning. You are more than welcome to join me if you want. I love fishing Seabrook but the heat of the summer is not a very good time unless you want to drown some finger mullet at the end of pilings and just sit and wait.
