8/7 report - SLOW!!!

Not sure where the heck the fish are, but we jumped in around 7:00 am along a south shoreline and there was plenty of bait, but the fish were nowhere to be found. Left the first cove and hit a mid bay reef with no takers only a few bumps. Left that spot and hit another cove along the south shoreline, I was throwing tops and tails with no luck. Donna was throwing her usual new penny shrimp gulp and he was getting some hits, but no takers. I said what the heck and asked her for one, about 5 casts into it I landed a 3lb 21" trout. Other then that, NOTHING!

Can't wait for the water to come back in the bay, school to start and fall to show up.

Me too. Same SDD. I aint doing well, but also having beer-thirty making me start moving by about noon or later aint helping!!

We are trying to get back in the swing of things, should hit it again this weekend. I want to fish during the week, but work is crazy!!
