Day to remember

Got on the water early and was out of the boat on my first spot before the sun came up. I have shoulder surgery scheduled for next week, so, needless to say trying to get some time on the water with my new Charlies Custom Custom Rod. Threw on a Jr Super Spook and landed my first fish that went close to 24 before sunrise, caught 3 more fish on my first wade, one that went 20 and two more over 22, Made a stop on the north shoreline caught a few dinks and 3 undersized reds, jumped back in the boat and stopped on a reef in Chocolate, slicks like crazy and only caught a few 17 inch trout. Left there and did a little boat riding, found myself on the south shorline and finished off the day with a 25 inch redfish.

The drive home was entertaining, outside bearing blew, Thank goodness for good country folks, got some help from a gentleman in Liverpool.

Cool deal......I wish I hadn't promised my neighbor I would take him and his cousin on Thursday. I would love to hit the topwater bass action again. You will be out for a while after the surgery, so if you just need to get a fix, I will meet you in Danbury and hook them and hand you the rod to hold while I video.....lol
