East beach has a ton of them. They are the ones that run around on the sand at 60MPH right?

You know I never see any around here for some reason. At Matagorda they're thick....
The ones running on the beach are Ghost Crabs.

they are good bait for reds ,drum, sheephead and flounder. i used them alot when i lived in florida ,not as easy to find them around here.
the fishing was good,it was the catching that was bad.

I've found em on the north shoreline of Jones lake west of where the railroad tracks break away from the marsh on the shoreline.

Bonefish love 'em, I can tell you that. A small jig tipped with a little fiddler or hermit crab......they can't resist it!

Nice painting Les, is it a watercolor or acrylic on panel?
