Doug called me at 5am today looking for a fishing partner. No problem. Loaded up and went to the South shoreline. Tide was a foot over normal.
We managed to scratch out a trout and red then headed to the North shoreline. We picked up some more trout and a 22" red. Bite slowed to nothing around 11am so we headed back to the South shoreline. Picked up one more trout and called it a day. Lost a couple nice trout by the boat since the water was so clear close to the South shoreline. I caught a rat red early on a bone top water then we switched to bone and tequila plastics.
