I was not sure if Michelle was going to post a report so here goes. Friday Michelle was nice enough to take me fishing since my boat has been in the shop. We ran all over west bay trying to find fish. Had a few hits here and there through out the morning but nothing stuck. Only saw a guide soaking croaker catching fish. After a long day of fishing and running we found some reds on the south shore. Caught 2 at 22" and maybe 25-26". Lost a few others. Despite the wind there were some good streaky water and slicks poping along with a decent tide but overall it was a very slow day. Thanks again Michelle, you have a really nice boat. Next time we can take mine and not worry about the sand bars if I ever get it out of the shop. I enjoy fishing with new people as I always learn something and hopefully teach something. Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers on here.

Lbtsoom, I know what you mean about skinny water. I had a shoalwater 18 flats simialr to yours before my shallow sport.but I never stuck it, well at least in shallow water. Do engine problems count? I think you can get in more trouble sometimes before you know it with those shallow boats.
Michelle, I still had a great time even though we had to push. Thanks for the invite. Anytime you want to go just let me know. Let's chase some redfish!

What are you doing way down there anyways? There are no fish down there, just shallow sandbars and plenty of gray fish
