6-4 surf/southshore

Started out in surfside, access 4 ,6:00am. To sum up the surf in one word, Suxs. Headed across SLP bridge, fished southshore with top and rootbeer/chart tails. With only a few hits, no takers, something was in there making bait jumpy.Went to poppin cork-shrimp. Caught 9 reds within 1 1/2 hr. , from 16 to 24. Keept a 22 1/2 & 24. Water wasnt very pretty at all, bait all over the place, and the wind matched the water and bait. Went back to surf at 10:30, couldnt give a live shrimp away.
