  • 5/22 Report - Personal Best

Fished the Backjack tourney with Donna and Jamin. Although I was not able to bring in a fish to the weight in, I did catch my personal best trout and then a nice 24" 5lb red after that.

Donna and Jamin brought in some fish to the weight, Jamin got 3 in te red divison (congrats) and Donna got a bogo grip for her 21 1/8" red. Close and even keeping in the cooler on ice did not help

The trout was 24" and 4.5 lbs, but my bogo grip might be off because it felt heavier. Either way, it was a blast fighting her and it was great to see eveyone at the weight in.

Awesome Mike and Donna. Early in the day was tough on East Bay where I fished with Pluggr and Reel Time. The PB is always an awesome feeling. Congrats to Donna as well. She is steady when it comes to those reds.

Sounds like a plan. By the way, where is your heck of the wood? Let me know, we can make plans for June.

that was a nice trout.4.5 lbs?,i don't know about that.certified scales would have shown that fish at 5lbs or more.still a beautiful trout.

I agree Jamin, it felt heavier then 4.5 lbs. Either way, it was a blast catching her!

By the way, how is the toe?
