5/22/10 west bay

me and my buddy josiah were supposed to go yesterday but he totally forgot about his friends bday party so he couldnt go....So i asked jimmy to come with me and he said okay so off we went to south shoreline around 5 30 to find some trout and reds..wind was blowing pretty good...i started off with blue/chrome SS and first cast, huge blowup!! fish on!! nice 26" red then couple of casts later huge blowup!! huge trout around 28" then she spit the hook!!!!!!!!!!! then jimmy hooked a solid trout..then no more blowups for me so i changed to mullet pattern ss jr..that was the ticket!! 2 man limit of trout from 17" to 22" and 1 red and 3 flounder...jimmy caught them on TTK killer minnow in bone/chart! we fished the outgoing tide in 2" to 3" of water so evening bite is better right now!
