stoped by the crawfish boil for a minute and met michelle, hell on reels, and mellwader there. didnt stay long before i headed out to the water. caught 3 trout with the littlest being 20" and biggest being 24". let them all go to fight another day since i was going back out the next day. caught them all on tops!!! only missed 2 blow ups so the hook up ratio was great.
had high hopes going into today but made a stupid desicion and hit the surf with live shrimp to see if i could pull anything out, but instead i got wiped out lol. headed to the same spot as yesterday and got there at 7. had a bone super spook on with a cloudy sky and nothing so then tried a devil and was working it fast on top and had a good crash on it but nothing on the business end. switched to a clown super ssjr and ended up with 7 good blow ups and 1 19" trout. watched some solid trout come out of the water with the topwater only to shoot it as far as they could when they hit it. oh well still fun. went to get something to eat so i didnt have anymore money on me and went to get gas with my gas card and it was denied!!! so great im on empty with no money and a 45 minute drive home. looks like fishing the rest of the day as planned is out of the window today so dug out some change and got enough to get me home lol. stupid gas card!!!!
kept the fish cuz i thought i could get more for a little mess but guess its not ment to be lol
