5/14 west bay reds

Good job and report. Just wondering, does anyone agree with me that the redfish population has recovered sufficiently enough that TPW should consider increasing the daily limit to 5. Personally, I also would like to see the slot changed to 18"-26".

I agree.5-5-5 on trout,redfish and flounder and adjust the size on the reds

I have to agree that in the past 10 years the redfish have gotten much more abundant. However I dont like the idea of raising the limit. 6 large fillets per person is plenty and they are hard on electric knives and even harder when filleting them by hand!!! LOL And since I have to clean fish for my clients, well nuff said!!!

I agree with capt mullet. That's plenty of meat. Just let them come back more and let the fishing get better, well until they take over the trout holes.. Then raise the limit

It could be worse, you could be guiding in Louisiana!
I hate cleaning redfish too, and don't keep them much unless one of the neighbor ladies asks for one, then they get it whole!
