    3/19/10 Detailed Report

    Fished west of the Galveston causeway and caught these fish in water shallow enough for me to get to them in my waders. Caught on arties...released a bunch more this afternoon. Late afternoon was the best bite, with slow hopped lures. One of the weirdest/slightest redfish bites i've ever felt.

    2 man limit of reds and a kicker flounder...here's clark08 with the fish.

    Nice stringer, you must have caught them just before that ugly front came through, because it got windy quickly. Thanks for the report.

                  dang GHS gave up my secret spot...now everybody knows my spot is "west" of the causeway!!!!...

                    LOL! It's not that secret. Saw him at the ramp and it's the same spot I prefer this time of year.

                    I just got there late and they had given them all sore mouths. LOL!

                            That spot might not be secret...but fishing it correctly is still mostly a secret.
