I have been giving the trout a pretty hard time latley so I decided to go back to my roots and chase some rubber lips for a change and they did not disapoint. I fished in some protected areas on the north side and found some really good reds , including this 27 1/2" toad. After getting my three reds(on a half sheel) lol I set back to look for trout again. Well they too did me right with a nice 27 1/2" trout. Total for the day was 9 trout and 3 reds. All trout put back. Trout again came on the old Lake Fork and the reds came on the old faithfull Texas Red Killer in pump/char. in about 2.5' of water.
