Went out in the afternoon to try and find some fish in the coves. When I got out to the bay the NW wind was rippin pretty good and the tide was starting to roll back in. Covered alot of water wading and finally found a few fish. Released a small keeper flounder, 2 rat reds and one trout that was 3.5#. Water temp was 49-49

The wind let up so I decided to venture out around mid-morning. The tide was going out pretty good, wind was NE @ 10 and the water was FREEZING! lol. Went far east and fished some shell with little to show. Had one good flounder that I kept for dinner and missed another bite. I don't get it, there were hardly any boats out and the one I saw pulled up 20 yards from me and starts casting
. Left there and tried a deep hole in a cove and nothing. I guess I should've stayed at the dock cause that's where the trout where lol. Caught 4 trout 16-18". The first two on corkys and the second 2 on topwaters. It was nice to see them hit a topwater again.
