I have never caught a stringer like that in 45 years of saltwater fishing. You need a big framed pic of that on the wall.
DID YOU SEE THE SPEED BOATS? THEY MUST HAVE BEEN DOING 70-80 MPH. WHO WERE THOSE GUYS. I could see them from the north shoreline. They were haulin'.
    Way to go !!!!
tikitrash, I did see those boats hauling ***. The first one must have been doing 80 mph or better. It appeared to have the makings of a Bass boat.

Yeah they were all rooster tails down mid bay where I was fishing. I don't get it but then I don't get a lot of things others place importance on.

I'm sure you've noticed before on the weekends, that there are a whole lot of people doing a lot more boat riding than fishing.

Albert what time was the bite or did you peck away at the fish?

        Kenny,

The bite was on for about 2 hours during a stong incoming from about 8:30 - 10:30. What I found strange was the tide chart called for a 3:50 am low and the high was not until 6:30 pm. It was so strong of an incoming tide that my dock was almost underwater when I got back around noon.

Great! Beats any stringer I've ever caught.
Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a rain dance.

Thanks, down my way the tide was still going out at dawn and seemed to go out strong until about 9:00 when it stopped and so did the bite. The low tide wasn't really very low (never went out) so the incoming was real high.

Nicely done !! What a blast !! Thanks for the report and pictures. That strong SE wind may have something to do with the weird , unexpected incoming tide.
