Met up with Albert and Jeremy and made a run into West Bay in Albert's new Trans Cat. Boat Looks and rides awesome and will absolutely get it!
Started the first wade at about 2:15pm with 15mph winds out of the north. First spot was Grass, mud and scattered shell 3'-4'. Made a long wade with nothing and turned to head to the boat when Jeremy hooked up with a 21" red, so we kept going and ended up that wade with 5 reds all 20"-21". Jumped back in the boat with about an hour of daylight and the winds now pumping about 25 and headed to spot 2.
Saw a mullet jump and jumped in in 3'-4'again over scattered shell and mud. We fanned out and I saw a few gulls hovering about 200 yds down, so I headed that way. I made a long cast with a corky devil and about half way in I felt a thump but no pull. I twitched it again and felt another thump with a little weight and set the hook on nothing. I casted back out where she had hit it and twitched it a couple of times and WHAM....big trout on! She made a long run ripping drag and then I got her close enough so that she surfaced and shook. She was fat and had to be at least 27"-28". She made another long run and I felt what felt like the air going out of a balloon and she was gone. Got the lure back in and one of the trebles was bent almost straight. I guess I had the drag too tight. I will be switching the hooks on all my corkys to VMC strongs. A few casts later, I hooked up and get this one in. She was a little over 20 and fat. A few minutes later Albert pulled up in the boat to pick us up and we headed in. We got back to the ramp with Jeremy shivering and he dumped the water out of his waders and was wet all the way to the waist.
It was a good trip considering the conditions and we could have picked up a few more trout if we had stayed or started at the last spot, but some of us were cold and ready to thaw.
    Enjoy the pics and videos.

It is in the video. My battery died and the flash wouldn't work. I will get some good ones of it next time. We forgot to get one while we were in the water.
Here is one, but Jeremy's *** is in the way!

Nice job. Too bad about the big trout. I'm guessing you were fishing with braid? I've had a lot of hooks bend when I use to fish with it, it was mostly reds though...atleast I hope so lol

Yep....braid only for me. I had the drag loosened up before the first fish and then tightened it up when pulling her out of some grass, then never loosened it back up.
