flounder break

wanted to giv the flounder a break soooo....
flew to Fla w/ 2 friends...met up with my brother and drove to
Port of the Islands in the everglades...10,000 Islands
air temp 85 water temp 72 Beautiful weather
concentrated on oysterbars in moving water ...extremely large tidal flow
4-5 ft diff....different water clarity depending where we were
Snook,jacks,trout, Grouper (on jigs inshore in 5 ft of water!!!)
fun to fish but really glad to be back in west bay!!!

Hey Brother...new 90 on next week...Buras team flats cat trip??.....i am going back to 10k islands with some Florida fishing friends...sounds like you and Tom did ok yesterday..Hoop and I pulled two 25" reds off of the Sutherland peir oyster bar...white gulp bounced slowwwwwly.

Man, Florida Breaks in the middle of winter are the best. Haven't had one in the last 2 years but the last was Tarpon and Snook festival. Love the Snook. Nice trip and Pics.
